Is a small little gem in the West Village of New York City that transports you to the mountains, valleys and sea sides of the northern regions of Italy. Our focus is to bring all of these rich and precious dishes, wine and warmth of our land to you, right here. Traditional dishes without any "culture influences"; Original recipes to tradition but with an accent of creativity and sometimes reinterpretation by our Chef Claudio Pienti. The name "Osteria Carlina" takes its cue from "Piazza Carlina" in Turin which the real name is "Piazza Carlo Emanuele" but for everyone just Carlina.
After 20 years of experience in hospitality in my hometown of Turin and 5 years experience in New York in our first restaurant, San Carlo Osteria Piemonte located in SoHo, I have decided to undertake this new and stimulating challenge (especially in the times of Covid) with wife, Christina Andres-Cerutti and new investing partners who immediately believed in us and and in this wonderful project. To open in the West Village of New York a small, warm, welcoming and authentic gem that can transmit our culture to this neighborhood, to this city and to the world, yes, because soon the world will be back in this city, because one day soon this city will be full again… Our authentic cuisine of my origins of Northern Italy consist of our rich and tasty flavors; our pastas, our meats , our cheeses, our desserts, our wines…We are waiting for you!
